Issue #27 Fort Verde Days This year was the 49th annual Fort Verde Days celebration was held October 7 to 9. It's what is known as Camp Verde's homecoming event, as it also celebrates the history of Fort Verde State Historic Park. This was the eighth annual Bull
Bash rodeo, with cowboys from all over the country trying their skills
and luck staying on bucking bulls and broncos. There were re-enactors showing off there military procedures and battle strategies which were common during he Fort Verde era. Also seen were the grand parade, fabulous food concessions, artists booths, music, dancing, carnival midway, and lots of other things to see and do for the entire weekend.
Another featured event was the BLM Wild Horse and Burro Adoption auction.
