Storms over Yavapai College, Prescott, AZ

We haven't had a chance to get out and about much lately. With work and all, time just seems to be speeding by.  The rains of the season have allowed officials to re-open all the state parks and forests, so we'll be attempting to shoot more as the days go by.  In the meantime, below are a few places we'll be returning to.

Sedona with it's red rocks and tourist drawing artistic ways.  If you come in on 179 off Interstate 17, you will first come to the Village of Oak Creek.  There you'll see the first picture, Bell Rock.  The second shot is of one of my students form a photography class I had at the Sedona Arts Center. We took a walk out our doors and found nature at it's best.

We love to go a'walkin', we never know what we'll see!  We managed to sneak up on a deer on one of our hikes, and we'll always remember the refreshing waters of Fossil Creek.  The sunset was from an evening not too long ago as we took a short drive from our home in Prescott Valley towards Mingus Mountain. The view back to the west was wonderful to capture on film, but not quite as beautiful and inspiring as experiencing the moments.

No matter where we go, the scenes are beautiful, if not awesome! I don't remember where the shot was taken on the left, but I remember the right picture was taken of the Superstition Mountains -- in 1975!

We've been digging around in our old picture files, so expect a bunch of stuff to show up on these pages which are not all that current.  However, the beauty of the Southwest is truly eternal, and we'll continue to show you why we love living here.
