Labor Day Weekend

Down on the Prescott Courthouse Square
Something is always happening almost every weekend downtown on the Courthouse Plaza.  This Labor Day weekend was no exception.  Hundreds of craft booths surrounded the plaza with many interesting pieces of arts, crafts, and other things.   To find a good place to part, you must arrive early so you don't end up having to park in one of the parking spaces on one of the nearby hills.  It's not so bad going down hill, but if you have purchased some large items, the trip back can be a big strain, especially in the afternoon heat!

Personally, we'd rather be out in the country enjoying the beautiful scenery.  There's still a lot of open ranch land in our area, and also great views from the tops of the mountain ranges which border our valley.  When you work all week with lots of people, going to a crowded event seems a bit much from time to time.  Escaping to the countryside is a visual pleasure we try not to deny ourselves for very long.
